This policy explains how DeeniPay handles your data. Contact us at privacy@deenipay.com.
1. What we collect
Business and verification (KYB) data: registration, ownership and director details, identity documents, address, and source-of-funds information.
Account data: name, email, phone, role, and authentication data.
Transaction data: amounts, currencies, quotes, supplier/recipient and payout details, invoices you attach, and payment status.
Technical data: device, app, and log information, and push-notification tokens.
2. Why we use it
To provide the service and process payments; to meet legal obligations (KYB/AML, sanctions screening, record-keeping, regulatory reporting); to prevent fraud and manage risk; and to communicate with you about transactions and verification. Marketing only with consent where required.
3. Who we share it with
Payment and infrastructure partners needed to deliver a payment; identity, sanctions, and fraud-screening providers; regulators, law enforcement, and auditors where required by law; and professional advisers. We do not sell your personal data.
4. International transfers
Cross-border payments require sending data across borders, including to partners outside your country. Where required we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent.
5. Retention
We keep personal data while your account is active and thereafter for the period required by anti-money-laundering and financial-records law (often at least five years after the end of the relationship), then delete or anonymise it.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. Some data we must retain to meet legal obligations. Contact privacy@deenipay.com; you may also complain to your data-protection authority.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest for sensitive data (including encrypting stored bank/payout details), access controls, and audit logging. Tell us immediately of any suspected compromise.
8. Push notifications
If you enable them, we store a device push token to send payment and verification notifications. You can turn notifications off in your device settings; signing out removes the token.
